Professor Arne Ljungqvist Anti-Doping Foundation

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Foundation is to follow Professor Arne Ljungqvist’s legacy in promoting scientific research on anti-doping matters and education for clean sports.The Foundation's purpose ought to be satisfied by initiating research on anti-doping matters in society as well as supporting anti-doping work in national and international sport, within the framework of the Foundation’s own purpose.

The Foundation may also support preventive targeted efforts directed to gyms and fitness centers, mainly oriented towards children and youth. The Foundation's purposes may be satisfied by giving research grants and scholarships or through its own activity. Grants and scholarships can be awarded to individuals and/or organizations, universities and colleges. Organizations which want to work within the international sport in different ways and with the sport's core values ​​must be given special consideration. 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors composed by a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of seven (7) members. At least one of the members shall have documented medical knowledge and skills.

FUNDS:
The Foundation's assets consist of funds through subventions, donations, grants or other contributions.
The Foundation’s returns as well as its assets can be used to the promotion of its purpose. However, the initial capital cannot be used. Donations to the Foundation shall be added to the Foundation capital, unless the benefactor directs otherwise. 

REGISTRATION:
The Foundation has its registered office in Stockholm, Sweden.

AUDIT:
The Board of Directors and the Foundation's accounts will be audited annually by a certified auditor.
