Karolinska 200 year

The Karolinska Institutet celebrated its 200 year anniversary in Stockholm and by hosting several activities around the world – Singapore, Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo.
In Singapore, Professor Arne Ljungqvist held speeches at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The title of the speech was "The Olympic spirit and doping – incompatible phenomena". On the evening of October 12, the Swedish ambassador Ingemar Dolfe held a reception at his residence, where Karolinska Institutet was congratulated on 200 years of successful research and education by representatives from Singapore's academic and medical communities.
